When VG opened a new HQ in Denver while rebranding, a new task arose: Name the rooms! Drawing inspiration from our Team Everywhere, Your Guide to the Globe, and The World Is Yours taglines + global imagery, the winning concept was geographical and topographical terms...as if you were flying high above and looking down at all of these features of the globe. Rooms located on the extremities of the office are Glacier and Cirque. The sunbelt rooms of the office face west and are blasted with afternoon rays received names derived from sun-soaked places: Mesa, Dune, Playa, Atoll. Small, tucked-between rooms: Cove, Drumlin, Loch. I chose expansive landscapes for the large, open spaces: Tundra, Savanna.
